REGISTRATION: 
Registration for the 2023-24 season will be held online.   

Registration requires both a SportsEngine account and a current USA Hockey number. Please complete these steps before you begin the registration process. 

Please review both the Registration Checklist and the Registration Fee and Payment options documents before you begin registration.  Both PDF documents are at the bottom of this page.  Upon completion of registration, you are agreeing to the terms for the 2023-24 season. 

• $75.00 for each player will be due at the time of registration
• 5 month payment plan is available
• Two deposit checks will be required when you receive your raffle tickets
• Cash/check payments will only be accepted until October 1, 2023.

2023-2024 Participation Fees 

Use the USA Hockey Age Classification below to determine your player's appropriate age group. 

Registration deadline is October 1, 2023.
$50 late fee will be applied to players registered after deadline. 

For all teams 10U and up, co-ops with our neighboring associations is possible. Confirmed registration numbers informs our decision-making process when exploring co-op teams. We will be use the numbers from this registration period (9/7/23-10/1/23) to make decisions about teams and our sponsorships. 

If you are concerned about payment, you may select the 'pay offline' option or you may submit payment online with the credit card/payment plan option and a refund will be issued if needed.

6U PROGRAM CHANGES: 
The 6U program has a fee of $100 this season. The price increase represents the following factors: 6U players will have more ice time this season, more jamboree/tournaments/games, and additional skills sessions. 

The 6U program is available to players who are able to perform beginner/basic skating fundamentals.

To register for the 6U program, one of the following must be true:
Previously participated in a 6U program, OR
Tested out of a learn to skate program, OR 
Able to perform the following skills unassisted:
Stand up on the ice 
Forward stride

If your player has never skated/played hockey before, please register for the free Learn to Skate program. 

FREE LEARN TO SKATE
Manistique Hockey is happy to announce a FREE Learn to Skate Program for the 2023-24 season! To participate, skaters must register with USA Hockey and complete the Manistique Hockey Registration process.

Please note that Learn to Skate participants will not be responsible for fundraising/volunteer commitments. 

Skating sessions will occur twice per week for 30-40 minutes/session for three to four weeks. Once sessions are complete, skaters may test out and discussion options of joining an age-appropriate hockey team for the remainder of the hockey season.
